Lloydminster Public Library embraces inclusion, collaboration, diversity, integrity, and intellectual freedom as the values that guide the foundation of our services. 

In reference to both our programming and our collection, we respect the rights of our patrons to determine for themselves what is most appropriate for their attention.  In the case of minors, we respect the rights of the parent/guardian to determine what is appropriate for their child.

We continue to evaluate our policies and procedures to ensure there is clarity regarding who we invite into our library for programming purposes.  As such, guest appearance requests are not being accepted at this time. As part of Lloydminster Public Library's strategic and business plan, engagement with diverse groups is ongoing. 

Our focus is on providing an inviting, safe environment where all citizens are welcomed and all perspectives are respected.
