Library closed Victoria Day

Library closed for Victoria Day

Lloydminster Public Library will be closed on Monday, May 21 for the Victoria Day holiday.

The Library will re-open Tuesday, May 22 and return to regular operating hours.

A 24 hour book return is located at the main (south) entrance to Atrium Centre.

Why not try some Book Spine Poetry?

Lloydminster Public Library and Arts Without Borders invite everyone to enter submissions for our 2nd annual Book Spine Poetry Gallery.

Book Spine Poetry is both a visual and literary art form that is created by stacking books so that the titles on the spines, when read out, make a poem. Poems can range from very short to epics. The only limit is your imagination and the size of your book collection.

Once you have stacked your creation, take a digital picture and submit it using our online form. There is a limit of 3 submissions per person. Each submission gets you an entry for our prize draw.

Deadline for submissions is June 2, 2012

We will be displaying submissions at the Library during the month of June and on the Arts Without Borders website

Preschool Storytime - There's No Place Like Home

Join us for stories, rhymes, songs, and a simple craft
as we explore homes of all kinds.

Storytime begins April 24 and runs through to May 31.

Storytime runs on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday mornings starting at 10:30am. No registration is required.
