Lloydminster Reads Update

The Arts Without Borders Festival is excited to announce the 2013 Lloydminster Reads author is Wayne Arthurson.

Arthurson, an award-winning author from Edmonton, will be reading and discussing two of his books on Tuesday, June 11, at the Barr Colony Heritage Cultural Centre, Imhoff Theatre. (Please note the change of venue this year.)

The Arts Without Borders Festival will be running from June 9th to 12th, 2011 in Lloydminster. Lloydminster Reads is excited to again participate in this dynamite festival.

 

Lloydminster Reads is thrilled to have the author Joseph Boyden and his prize winning novel Through Black Spruce for the event. Joseph will also share a reading from his newest book, Louis Riel & Gabriel Dumont.

MWCA (Mid Western Canadian Artists)

Fundraising Quick Draw

 

June 2009 - For Immediate release

The MWCA will be hosting the 2009 Quick Draw Auction and Reception as a fundraiser for the
Arts Without Borders Bursary.

The bursary has been established to assist residents of Lloydminster and region in pursuing professional training and developing talent in the arts thereby increasing the number of professional artists and arts professionals in the Lloydminster region.

Hello

The Arts Without Borders Festival will be running from June 11 to 14th, 2009 in Lloydminster.

Lloydminster Reads is excited to again participate in this dynamite festival.

Lloydminster Reads has selected the book, “Good to a Fault” by Marina Endicott. Please find attached a document that provides further information on the author and book.

Our event will be held on Thursday, June 11th, 2009 on stage at the Vic Juba Community Theatre. Time 7:30p.m.
